Dr. Kanelina Bimpa is specialized in Breast Surgery and Health, with years of experience in breast screening, monitoring and patient counseling, particularly in the context of Assisted Reproduction.
She is a highly trained and specialized Breast Surgeon, with experience in the management of benign and malignant breast conditions and is partnered with the Department of Breast Surgery at “St. Luke’s” General Hospital.
Dr. Bimpa has an outpatient Breast Clinic in Thessaloniki Greece and is currently serving as the CEO of EmbryoClinic IVF.
Dr. Bimpa has completed her basic medical training at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School with “Honours” in 1998. She received her Specialist Certification in General Surgery from the University General Hospotal “Ippokrateio” in 2005. In 2007 she received her PhD from the Aretaieio General Hospital under the auspices of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens for her academic work in the field of Surgery.
Dr. Bimpa received her certification from the European Board of Surgery (FEBS) and is a member of numerous international Medical and Scientific Institutions and Societies relevant to Breast Surgery, such as the International Society of Surgery (ISS) and the European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists (EUSOMA).
Apart from her expertise in Surgery, Dr. Bimpa has specialized in Healthcare Management via a two-year post-graduate course at the University of Sheffield in England, after which she was awarded a diploma in 2018.
Dr. Bimpa has had a prolific academic and research career, aiming at contributing to the advancement of Medical Knowledge. She has authored many scientific articles on national and international journals, while also serving as an invited peer reviewer of articles by her colleagues worldwide.
